Terms of service
Last updated: August 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Bynelo website, online store, products, services, and related communications (collectively, the “Services”).
Bynelo operates from the United Kingdom and Nigeria and serves customers in the United Kingdom, United States, Nigeria, and other countries.
Throughout these Terms, “Bynelo,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Bynelo. “You” and “your” refer to the person accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our Services.
By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms and the other policies referenced on our website, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or Services.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND USE OF OUR WEBSITE
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you in order to use our Services or place an order.
If you are under the applicable age of majority in your country or jurisdiction, you may use our Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.
You agree to use our website and Services only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- use our website in violation of applicable laws or regulations;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems, accounts, or databases;
- interfere with the operation or security of our website;
- introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit our website or its content without our written permission; or
- use our Services to engage in fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful activity.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our Services where reasonably necessary, including where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
2. OUR PRODUCTS
We sell home décor, furnishings, textiles, accessories, fashion products, and other products made available through our website.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, dimensions, specifications, and other product information are accurate and up to date.
However, minor variations may occur because of:
- differences in screen and device displays;
- lighting and photography;
- manufacturing processes;
- fabric or material characteristics;
- printing processes; and
- reasonable variations between individual products.
Such minor variations do not necessarily constitute a defect.
Where a product is made to order, produced on demand, customised, personalised, or otherwise created specifically for your order, this will be indicated where applicable.
Product availability may change without notice.
We reserve the right to discontinue products, limit quantities, correct errors, or update product information when reasonably necessary.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights regarding products that are faulty, not as described, or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.
For UK consumer purchases, goods must meet applicable statutory standards, including being as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.
3. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected by you.
After you place an order, we may send an order confirmation acknowledging that we have received your order.
An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted if we subsequently identify an issue that prevents us from fulfilling it.
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- there is an obvious pricing or product-description error;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
- there are restrictions on delivery to your location;
- payment cannot be successfully processed; or
- the order appears to have been placed in violation of these Terms.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled order, subject to applicable law.
Where an order has been accepted and a contract has been formed, we will fulfil it in accordance with these Terms and the information provided to you at the time of purchase.
4. PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices displayed on our website are subject to change.
The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place the order, subject to correction of obvious errors and applicable law.
Where applicable, taxes, duties, delivery charges, or other additional charges will be displayed or communicated before you complete your purchase.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.
Payment is processed through the payment methods and payment providers made available at checkout.
We generally do not store your full payment card details. Payment information may be processed by third-party payment providers in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel transactions where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, unauthorised transactions, or other misuse of our Services.
If an obvious pricing or product-description error is identified after payment but before we have accepted the order, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.
5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We ship products to the destinations shown as available at checkout.
Delivery times, processing times, shipping methods, shipping costs, and any applicable delivery restrictions are described in our Shipping Policy and/or displayed during checkout.
Estimated delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise.
Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- customs clearance;
- import restrictions;
- carrier delays;
- weather;
- strikes;
- natural disasters;
- government restrictions;
- incorrect or incomplete delivery information; and
- other events beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address and the order cannot be delivered as a result, additional shipping or redelivery costs may apply where permitted by law.
Where applicable law provides mandatory delivery rights or remedies, those rights are not affected by these Terms.
For UK consumer orders, applicable law generally requires delivery within 30 days unless a different delivery period has been agreed with the customer.
6. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
Our Return & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and explains our procedures and requirements for returns, refunds, and exchanges.
Please review the Return & Refund Policy before placing an order.
Nothing in our Return & Refund Policy or these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Where applicable UK consumer law gives a customer a right to cancel an online order, that right will apply subject to the applicable legal exceptions.
Certain goods, including goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised goods, may be excluded from statutory cancellation rights where the applicable legal exemption applies.
The fact that a product is produced on demand or after an order is placed does not, by itself, determine whether a statutory cancellation right is excluded.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, customers will be provided with the information and instructions required by applicable law.
For eligible UK distance contracts, the statutory cancellation period is generally 14 calendar days, subject to applicable exceptions.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from exercising a statutory right relating to faulty, defective, misdescribed, or otherwise non-conforming goods.
For Nigerian customers, applicable Nigerian consumer protection rights also continue to apply, including rights relating to defective, unsuitable, or misdescribed goods.
7. CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS AND INFORMATION
You may be able to create an account on our website.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login information confidential and for activities carried out through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating an account or placing an order.
If your information changes, you should update it where possible or contact us so that we can communicate with you regarding your orders.
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the content appearing on our website, including:
- product photographs;
- images;
- graphics;
- logos;
- branding;
- text;
- product descriptions;
- page designs;
- videos;
- illustrations; and
- other original materials
is owned by or licensed to Bynelo and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may access and use the website for your personal, non-commercial use and for the purpose of browsing or purchasing from Bynelo.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, sell, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission.
9. USER CONTENT AND COMMUNICATIONS
If you submit reviews, photographs, comments, feedback, testimonials, or other content to us, you represent that you have the right to provide that content.
By submitting content to us, you grant Bynelo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, display, publish, adapt, and distribute that content for legitimate business purposes, including marketing and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
We may remove content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
Nothing in this section requires you to provide a testimonial, review, photograph, or other content.
10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
Our website may contain links to websites, applications, products, or services operated by third parties.
These links may be provided for convenience and do not necessarily mean that Bynelo endorses or controls those third parties.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms of third-party websites or services.
Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and policies of the relevant third party.
11. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND ACCURACY
We make reasonable efforts to keep our website available and information accurate.
However, we do not guarantee that:
- the website will always be available or uninterrupted;
- the website will always be free from errors;
- all information will always be current;
- defects will always be corrected immediately; or
- the website will be free from viruses or other harmful components.
We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to parts of our website where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, updates, technical issues, or other legitimate business purposes.
12. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
This includes liability for matters such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the above, Bynelo will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to provide accurate information, misuse of our website, or failure to follow reasonable instructions relating to our products.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include:
- natural disasters;
- severe weather;
- war or civil unrest;
- strikes or labour disputes;
- government actions or restrictions;
- customs delays;
- transportation disruptions;
- internet or telecommunications failures;
- supplier or manufacturing disruptions;
- cyber incidents;
- pandemics or public-health emergencies; and
- other events that could not reasonably have been prevented or anticipated.
Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its impact and communicate with affected customers where appropriate.
Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer rights that apply under applicable law.
14. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to our website or Services where reasonably necessary, including if you:
- materially breach these Terms;
- engage in fraudulent or abusive activity;
- attempt to interfere with our website or systems; or
- use our Services for unlawful purposes.
Termination or suspension will not affect rights or obligations that arose before the termination.
Where required by applicable law, we will not use suspension or termination to avoid obligations that have already arisen in relation to an accepted order or statutory consumer rights.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, Services, technology, or legal requirements.
When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
The version of the Terms applicable to your order will generally be the version in effect when the order is placed, unless a change is required by law or otherwise applies to an ongoing relationship.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND CONSUMER RIGHTS
Bynelo operates in both the United Kingdom and Nigeria.
Where a customer contracts with Bynelo's United Kingdom operation, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer under applicable law.
Where a customer contracts with Bynelo's Nigeria operation, these Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to the customer under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory legal protections or bringing a claim in a court where applicable law gives them the right to do so.
We encourage customers to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve any complaint or dispute fairly and promptly.
17. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally permitted.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the policies and documents expressly referenced in them, form the agreement between you and Bynelo concerning your use of our Services and purchases from our website.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific policy relating to a particular matter, the more specific policy will apply to that matter to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
19. SMS AND TEXT MESSAGES
If you voluntarily subscribe to Bynelo's SMS or text-message program, you agree to receive text messages relating to your orders, customer service, abandoned checkout reminders, promotions, and other permitted communications.
Message frequency may vary.
Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase.
You may unsubscribe from marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP to a message from us or by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in our messages.
For assistance, reply HELP to the number from which you received the message.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile service provider and plan.
If you unsubscribe from marketing messages, you may still receive transactional or service-related messages necessary to fulfil an order or provide requested services, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, or customer-service communications.
We may change or discontinue our SMS program or the telephone numbers used for the program where reasonably necessary.
